Salt & Light Link Up #36

Change is hard for me. I mean…. I think I am a pretty good team player (deep sigh). I will always go with the flow of change but truth is, when saying yes to change, I am cringing. My teeth are clenched and my palms turn clammy.

If you were to ask my partners here for the Salt & Light Link Up, my usual answer to almost everything when discussing next steps, new ideas, and technical difficulties is: “I am good with whatever, just tell me how to go forward.”

And I mean every word of it.

I am in partnership with Amazing women of God and I learn so much from them. They strengthen me where I am weak….. which is mostly technology and CHANGE!

But although I mean when I say, “just tell me how to go forward”, the sweaty palms are rising.

Discomfort with change is probably something in the blogging world we shouldn’t have. Not sure if you have noticed or not but this blogging journey is never the same day to day.

Most importantly, the fear of change in general is definitely not in the best interest for our being.

Just think of how many times God has changed us as individuals, as a mother, wife, or friend. He doesn’t ask us if it’s what we want or when we want it. He does what is in best interest for us even if we do not agree. That my friend, is the beauty of God.

It can hurt and be scary but would any of us ever want to miss the changes that the Lord has given to us?

I know I wouldn’t. If I didn’t accept change from the Lord’s leading, I wouldn’t be part of building a community or developing so many friends through the communities.

Changing through the Lord’s leading has always been the best outcome and although I may go forward with clammy hands and clenched teeth, I will continue to be obedient. The Lord is whom I follow not my own fears.

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

    2 Timothy 1:7

Further ado, I have some changes to share with you. No worries, I know they are good changes. Changes that we are confident will help build more of a community for Salt & Light Link Up contributors and will also help you as a Blogger/Writer to getting more exposure to your blog that you are linking up.

Starting Next Week salt & Light Link Up will be a Facebook group where we will be sharing our posts through Facebook. Linking up, weekly features, and sharing each other’s work with be done there.

I cant wait till next week to post all the information. As of now we are working on getting the group ready!
