From previous posts of mine, I am sure you already know, I love writing my husband love letters, sticky notes, and even send him some flirtatious texts throughout the day.

67 Encouraging Things to say to your Husband.

I am someone who believes in the power of words. My love language is undoubtedly “words of affirmation” so of course, sending some love through email, sticky notes around the house, or through messaging is something I find much joy in.

Does it spark joy? Oh, yes, Marie Kondo, it sparks joy. Writing love letters is staying in the relationship.

To me the best thing you can do in a love note is to build your man up. Encourage him, uplift him in his position as a husband. It does something limitless for you and him when we do this.

As for quotes from ones that has figured out that one beautiful thing to say about love and to express to love ones, use it! Wisdom and experience should be shared!

Take time to either challenge yourself to leave these notes around the house for your hubby to see for the next 21 days or just cuddle up to him next time he is on the couch (but not while the game is on, never when the game is on…..trust me.;) Hold onto to him and say these quotes out loud. Let him know which ones spoke to you and reminds you of your relationship.

Then give him time to respond. You’d be surprised how much our husband also love that time to just reflect on the romantic feels of what love is in our lives.

Beautiful, Carmen. Such a great idea. Thank you for this. And you had me on quote number 1 as I remember it from the movie, “A Walk to Remember.” One of my favorites of all time!

I love that quote too! My husband actually said it to me two weeks ago because we had heard it on a movie and though he was being cheesy because he knew how much I loved it in the movie, I still received it and gave him a BIG kiss. =)
